Over the last decade, robo-advisor has been a typical application of fintech and have attracted more attention from investors in the financial market. However, many studies on robo-advisor have focused on performance improvement. No research has focused on the intention to adopt robo-advisor for police officers during the epidemic. This study integrates trust influence mechanism and explores the six constructs of trust transfer theory to test the intention to use robo-advisor for police officers. This model was tested via a survey of 176 police officers. we found the important influence of government regulation and verified that there are significant indirect relationships between other trust influencing factors, including company reputation, service commitment, trust in technologies, and willingness to adopt robo-advisor. Therefore, through an in-depth investigation of robo-advisor, this study can promote the industry transition from traditional financial services to fintech services, and achieve the goal of social inclusive finance and sustainable development.
