| Abstract: | 早期農村聚落的形成與水圳息息相關，水圳是聚落得以延續生存的命脈，臺中市東勢區慶東里（舊名為大茅埔）的客家聚落，水圳是居民的生活用水、農業的生產用水、環境生態用水，它更具有護城河溝功能。本研究目的在探討東勢區慶東里居民對社區發展與灌溉水圳間相互關係，研究者藉由文獻、參與體驗、深度訪談及田野調查等，整理大茅埔聚落形成與灌溉水圳的開鑿，瞭解水圳環境價值對社區居民的影響。本研究結果得知：一、農業生產價值方面：水圳是大茅埔居民農業生產、經濟賴以維生的主要用水，其灌溉用水功能，從初期聚落形成到現在一直延續。二、居民生活價值方面：水圳為聚落生存得以延續的重要命脈，是早期居民生活飲用水、也是消防用水；水圳邊洗衣坑提供居民日常生活水圳文化機能；流動的水，改善社區環境衛生，提升居住生活品質。為防範外襲的護城河溝，因已不具防禦功能，已被加蓋所犧牲。三、生態價值方面：水圳水泥化後，因水中生態環境改變，居民童年在水圳裡生活樂趣，成為回憶。四、景觀遊憩價值方面：洗衣坑、穿龍圳隧道綠廊等地景，結合社區資源發展成地方特色，可促進農村旅遊價值與民眾休閒遊憩場所。本研究根據結論，提出四項建議以作為未來社區發展參考。
The establishment of early rural village has a strong correlation with irrigation canal system. The Hakka tribe in Qingdong Village, Dongshih District, Taichung City (the early name is Damaopu area) is high related to local irrigation canal, which has functions of domestic water use, agricultural water use, environment water use and moat protection in early period. In this study, by reading related references, participating some activities, designing questionnaire, doing fieldworks, the relationships between people in Qingdong Vil., Dongshih Dist., community development, and irrigation canal system were investigated; in addition, the tribe establishment history and origin of the irrigation canal were sorting out to understand the irrigation canal and environment value to the residents.The results show that 1.in the agricultural production value: the irrigation canal system is vital to local agriculture and domestic water use from the initial tribe establishment period till nowadays; 2.in the residential value, the irrigation canal was not only used as drinking water and firefighting water use, but also improving the sanitation and life quality. The laundry pits near the irrigation canal have provided residents a traditional culture life. Besides, the moat river has no longer the defense or drainage function due to covered by culvert. 3.in the environmental value: after concreting the surface of irrigation canal, pleasures in the past have become memories due to the change of environment. 4. In the leisure value, laundry pits, green corridor in Chuanlung canal tunnel and other landscapes, combine the community resources to develop the local feature and promote rural tourism value and leisure recreation area. In this research, the above 4 suggestions are proposed as the development in the future. |
