    Abstract: 本研究旨在探討美中貿易戰對臺灣電子產業的影響。以美中貿易談判以來的重要政策實施日為事件日,利用事件研究法探討事件期間,台灣到中國投資設廠的電子相關產業之股價變化。實證期間涵蓋自2017年4月至2019年10月止。 實證結果顯示,當美中貿易談判有重大事件之訊息公布及實施時,對於我國在中國設廠的電子產業及其相關產業鏈公司,股價會產生顯著的平均異常報酬率與累積平均異常報酬率,且大多數是呈現負向的異常報酬率。
    This study investigates the impact of the US-China trade war on Taiwan’s electronics industry. We use the date on important policy of the US-China trade negotiations as the event day and event study to discuss changes in the stock price on these Taiwanese electronics industry related firms with direct investment in China. The sample period covers from April 2017 to October 2019.The empirical results show that when the news of major events in the US-China trade negotiations is announced, there are negative and significant average abnormal returns and cumulative average abnormal returns on the electronics industry and related industry chain firms with direct investment in China.
