Dakeng Hiking Trails are a popular choice of suburbandestination for hiking among Taichung City residents, and the various hiking trails inDadu Plateau, located in the coastal side of the city, have received visitors mostlyfrom the local population. This study explored the construction history, key scenicfeatures, and landscapes of hiking trails in three coastal-side districts: Dadu, Wuri, and Longjing Districts.
