According to 2020 AHA guideline:「Use of real-time audiovisual feedback is suggested as a means to maintain CPR quality」, this study aims to review current state of audiovisual feedback equipments using among emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and develop a new design expressly for EMTs.
After analyzing pros and cons of existing audiovisual feedback equipments, we created a modified audiovisual feedback model. Survey questionnaries were given to EMTs after useing the model to evaluate their experience. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test by SPSS 18.
The experience of using modified audiovisual feedback model was significantly better than three other equipments, and most of the participants were willing to use it while performing CPR.
