The purpose of this study is to find out the correlation analyses of “the background of Taichung firefighters’”, “job stress” and “leisure demands“. And provided some future suggestions for Fire Department.
There are 438 surveys from this research from Taichung City Fire Department firefighters. This survey includes three parts: 1. “basic personal information questionnaire”, 2. “Job Stress”, 3. “Leisure Demand”. The data from surveys was analyzed with the descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and linear regression analysis in SPSS.
The conclusion in this study indicates the “job stress” and “leisure demands“ are influenced by firefighters’ specific background. Further, the analysis show the linear regression between the “job stress” and the “leisure demand”. Hence, we suggest that to provide more appropriate leisure activities for the firefighters is good for releasing the job stress .
