隨著時代的變遷與社會人口老化需求越趨向多元化,藉由在地老化的理念,如何讓老人的的晚年生活更加圓滿,是老人照顧的共識。研究者曾以打擊樂為媒材介入社區據點的長輩課程活動,得到正面的反應與迴響,擬進一步探討EPS模式介入老人打擊樂團之可能。研究期間遇到機構服務場域遷移、新冠肺炎疫情、台灣三級警戒,採取線上自主學習,直到解除警戒,恢復進場,接續完成老人團體工作。
研究採取田野研究,基於長時間與社區長輩建立信任關係,並盤點老人在社區的資源,運用EPS模式介入形塑老人打擊樂團體。研究期間為110年5月到9月,以樂團成立暨成果展為工作目標。為了協助樂團有更穩固的基礎,之後仍每2周進入社區樂團,持續的陪伴與激發長輩的潛力。
本研究結果顯示,在老人團體導入EPS模式,能夠協助老人從服務使用者轉變成服務給予者,並且發展團體及個人之優勢潛力,透過社會參與的機會,進而獲得充權。藉由打擊樂團,提升社區老人的自信、自我價值感及個人能力,研究亦對於社區據點與社會工作者規劃活動提出相關建議。
With the changing time and the aging needs of the social population becoming more and more diversified, the idea of aging in place makes the elderly life more fulfilling life. The researcher adopted percussion to intervene in the elderly curriculum activities in the community care center and got a positive reward. This study intends to explore using EPS model intervention in elderly percussion ensemble.
During the study period, the institutional field migrated and Level 3 alert for COVID-19; the researcher provided an online course and kept the elderly group continued participating in learning. This study followed a community-based fieldwork design. Research and community elders based on the long-term establishment of trusting relationships, it’s accessible to use the EPS model to build a percussion ensemble of the elderly. From May 2021 to September 2021, the research goal is to establish an elderly Percussion Ensemble. To help the percussion Ensemble have a more solid foundation, it still enters the percussion ensemble every two weeks to continue accompanying the percussion ensemble.
This study shows that the intervention of the EPS model in elderly groups can help the elderly from service users transfer to service providers, develop the potential advantages of groups and individuals, and then obtain empowerment through the opportunity of social participation. The percussion ensemble enhanced the elderly self-confidence, self-worth, and personal ability. The research also made relevant suggestions to social work design community-based activities.
