The research question is to explore whether the higher vocational students' perception
of volunteer soldiers will affect their willingness to participate in volunteers in the future. Through indirect literature citation and logical reasoning, it is necessary to further clarify the relationship between the two. This study is based on the form of a GOOGLE-based questionnaire issued by a student who is enrolled in a high school vocational school in grades 2 and 3. A total of 385 questionnaires were distributed, and senior students were asked to answer questions about the volunteers’ willingness to participate and their willingness to participate. A total of 385 questionnaires were collected, 60 invalid questionnaires were deleted, and 60 were completed. The total number of valid questionnaires was 325.
The results of this study found that in addition to the "social status" of volunteers in
the three facets of volunteers, "work essence" and "personal fit" have a significant effect on the future willingness of the subjects to participate in volunteer service, and The cognitive effect of “personal fit” among volunteer soldiers is the most significant. In addition, in terms of sample characteristics, whether the subject's relatives and friends are engaged in defense-related work or not, and the attitude of parents to volunteers participating in the volunteers, they have significant and different effects on the volunteers' perceptions and willingness to participate. . The results of the study also found that the personal fit facet of volunteer soldiers' cognition will improve the students' willingness to participate after graduation than the work nature and socio-economic status.
This study hopes to make recommendations through the research results to provide
educational administrations and the National Defense Forces Recruitment Center of the Ministry of National Defense. It will serve as a reference for research in the future implementation of recruitment planning, reduce the turnover rate of the national military volunteers and obtain outstanding talents of aspiring youth. In order to successfully complete the recruitment of the National Army "volunteer soldiers", in order to maintain China's national defense capabilities.
