志工對學校而言是一個很重要的資源,許多家長因為子女在學校就讀而到學校擔任志工,子女從學校畢業後,就會離開,但有些則會繼續留任。本研究旨在從認真休閒的理論探討志工會選擇繼續留任的想法。
研究採取質性訪談方法,訪問南投縣光華國小志工媽媽合唱團六位年資在三年到十八年的志工。藉由訪談大綱與志工們做深度對話後,整理與歸納分析結論如下:
1、志工媽媽合唱團的團員在來校擔任志工前,就已曾在其他地方擔任志工服務,他們加入志工媽媽合唱團的動機,雖然也有利他動機,但也有很大部分的利己動機。
2、志工媽媽合唱團的團員可以獲得自我充實、自我實現、自我表現、自我形象、自我滿足、自我重建、與化阻力為助力的個人休閒效益。
3、志工媽媽合唱團的團員可以獲得社交互動、團體成就、與團體認同的社會休閒效益。
Volunteer are an important resource for a school. Some parents of students would come to school and work as volunteers during the period their children enroll in the school, and stop the service after their children graduate. However, some volunteers choose to continue even their children were no longer in the school. This study hopes to know their motivation for participation from the viewpoint of serious leisure.
Qualitative research method was adopted and in-deep interviews were carried out. Six members in the Guang-Hua Elementary School Parent Volunteer Chorus with 3-year to 18-year volunteer experience were interviewed. The Results show that:
1. Most volunteers had volunteer experience before they provide similar service to Guang-Hua Elementary School. The reason they like to continue playing the role as volunteers was not only being able to help others but also being able to bring something positive to themselves.
2. Members of Parent Volunteer Chorus can get some personal leisure benefits, such as self-enrichment, self-realization, self-expression, self-image enhancement, self-satisfaction, self-construction, and overcoming obstacle and changing into positive force.
3. Members of Parent Volunteer Chorus can get positive social leisure value and great meaning in terms of social interaction, team achievement, and group identity.
