A total of 298 questionnaires were distributed and 293 of them were valid. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, and importance performance analysis (IPA).
    The findings include:
    1. Students have high expectation on the quality of food and the safety and comfort of the environment.
    2. Students’ have higher learning effectiveness in skill and interpersonal than knowledge.
    3. Significant differences in outdoor education satisfaction exist between male and female students.
    4. No significant differences in the learning effectiveness of outdoor education satisfaction exist between male and female students.
    5. Positive correlation exists between satisfaction and learning effectiveness of the outdoor education activity.
Based upon the above findings, the study provides useful suggestions for schools and education authorities in planning outdoor education activities in the future.
