The purpose of this study is primarily to explore the players of sports event’s service quality, satisfaction and re-participation intention of 2018 International Pickleball Tournament(IPT). The target population of this research was the contestants who attend the International Pickleball Tournament Program on November 25, 2018. The researchers administered questionnaires through on-site sampling, performed data analysis, and verified the research hypotheses. The following conclusion was obtained:
1. The IPT player-perceived service quality in a tournament significantly affects their satisfaction with the tournament.
2. The IPT player-perceived service quality in a tournament significantly affects their re-participation intention with the tournament.
3. The IPT players’ satisfaction in a tournament significantly affects their re-participation intention with the tournament.
Based on the reserch results, future researchers are suggested to survey players in northern, southern, and eastern Taiwan to explore their perceptions and identify differences between players from different regions. Qualitative research and linear structural relationship models can be employed for analysis to establish representative research results.
