Abstract: The temperature in the summer continues to rise, indirectly causing the continuous increase in the power consumption of whole Taiwan. An increase in the amount of electricity may cause a power overload or a power-limit alarm, or a voltage event such as a step-down power supply. Therefore, this paper will establish a smart meter platform, using LinkIt Smart 7688 as the monitoring terminal, responsible for collecting the mains signal and sending it to the server for calculation, and can view the detailed information and analysis status of the power on the platform. This paper will focus on the architecture design of the monitoring and servo terminals, discuss how to adjust the performance of the server and be able to perform power calculations instantly when the signal is received. Actual use of utility signals was used to verify the functionality of the smart meter platform and prove that the architecture is valid and immediate on receiving processing signals.
