本研究旨在探索諮商實務中諮商工作者的實務經驗，並從中瞭解男同志內化恐同的樣貌，使其以負向態度看待自身的男同志身份。過去許多文獻都指出內化恐同多方影響著性別少數族群的身心健康，例如憂鬱與焦慮疾患相較於一般族群更高的盛行率。因此研究希望藉由實務工作者豐富的經驗尋找在諮商工作中應對男同志內化恐同的策略。研究受訪者共3位諮商心理師，皆有10年左右與同志工作經歷。訪談資料以質化研究的內容分析法合併女性主義觀點進行分析。研究結果發現內化恐同為一個多重集合的概念，包含來自3個貶抑男同志的價值脈絡：「男子氣概的價值系統」、「男同志社群內部的價值系統」、台灣社會對性的價值系統」。在實務經驗中諮商工作者面對內化恐同的策略包含3個向度：「透過認同與肯定化解恐懼」、「與男同志討論出櫃」、「心理師的自我工作」。研究以實務工作為基礎瞭解男同志內化恐同樣貌，並依研究結果的觀點與策略進行討論與建議。探討性別氣質與性傾向之關連，即男子氣概的價值如何影響男同志案主的困擾，與如何塑造男同志社群內部的困境。再以此提出與男同志諮商實務上的工作建議，包含以多重身份的觀點理解男同志處境與瞭解同志社群並納入對案主的評估，以及提供同志肯定諮商的初步實證。
This study discusses the internalized homophobia of gay men from the working experience of counseling practitioners. To understand the values inside the internalized homophobia cause the negative attitude of gay men toward their own homosexuality by the Perspectives of Counseling Practitioners. The previous literature shows that internalized homophobia is related to mental health of LGBT community, according a higher prevalence of depression and anxiety disorders than the heterosexual, so counselors should value the importance of internalized homophobia in counseling with LGBT clients. Therefore, this study also tried to explore the working strategies from solid experience in counseling practice. Participants included 3 counselors all possess 10-year around working experience with LGBT community, and interview data was evaluated by content analysis and feminism. The results showed that internalized homophobia of gay men is an aggregation consists of 3 different values, including “the value of masculinity in men”, “the value inside the gay community” and “the value of sex in Taiwan”. The working strategies of practitioners with internalized homophobia include “identification and affirmative”, “discussing coming out” and “self-working of counselor”. According to the study results, discusses about working advices with gay men,and show the basic evidence of LGB-affirmative therapy. The study indicates the relationship between gender expression and sex orientation, and discusses how the masculinity causes a dilemma of an individual gay men and the trouble of whole gay community.
