本研究目的在於探究台灣心理師創業-私人開業之整體歷程,以敘事研究為方法,透過半結構式的深度訪談及「類別-內容分析取向」,對受訪者之創業夢想與市場現實的交織過程及經驗認知進行探索,最後整理出台灣心理師面對開業時須要注意的幾個重要課題。本研究共計訪談五位開業三年以上之心理諮商所與治療所負責人,經描繪與分析其開業故事後,提出對心理師創業之路的重要發現,以如下四個主題進行說明:1.從起心動念中看見職涯轉換路徑;2.從遭遇難題中發展成功因應對策;3.從開業評語中瞭解創業利弊得失;4.從所長建言中獲得產業活絡政策。另外,分別對於心理系學生、心理師、開業所長、心理系所及心理師公會提出四方面的建議,期待有助於各方的前程規劃、創業成功、教學輔導及台灣心理健康產業發展的促進。
The study is aimed to explore the whole process of psychologists’ entrepreneurship on starting their own clinics in Taiwan. The narrative inquiry was adopted as the research method. Semi-structured and in-depth interviews were used to collect the relevant data. Categorical-content approach was utilized as the research instrument to analyze the collected data for understanding the participants’ cognitive experiences. Finally, it sorted out the important issues that Taiwanese psychologists will face with when they start their own businesses. Five directors of the counseling and psychologist clinics which have been in business for more than three years were purposely selected for interview. After describing and analyzing the five entrepreneurial stories, major findings then were illustrated as the four following: 1.To find out the paths of career transition based on the decisions of directors. 2.To set up the successful management strategies through the continuous challenges. 3.To evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of entrepreneurship via the industry appraisal. 4.To obtain the feasible policies on the industry from the suggestions of the directors. Furthermore, suggestions in four aspects were presented especially to the psychology students, psychologists, directors, Psychology and Counseling Department in university, and the Psychologists Association, in hope to practicably promote the individual career planning, business success, school instruction and guidance, and development of mental health industry in Taiwan.
