Abstract: | 流浪犬問題導因於人類的棄養,造成人身安全、交通意外、公共衛生、噪音以及動物收容所營運困難等問題,因此,有更多的人願意認養流浪犬對於流浪犬問題就會有所助益,本研究提出認養者的寵物依附程度對於認養流浪犬的意願是否能夠產生影響,而寵物依附透過幸福感的中介效果是否正向影響認養意願。對於認養流浪犬的民眾,蒐集有效問卷419份,找出寵物依附與幸福感對流浪犬認養之影響,建構流浪犬認養決策模式,以完備認養者對寵物依附認養模式之架構,並驗證幸福感對寵物依附影響認養意願之中介效果,以了解幸福感對認養意願之影響。研究結果顯示,認養者之寵物依附程度可促進對流浪犬的認養意願和幸福感的提升;認養者之幸福感程度可促進對流浪犬的認養意願;認養者之寵物依附若再透過幸福感,更能促進對流浪犬之認養意願。研究建議:空巢與鰥寡期之高收入族群,應鎖定為流浪犬的認養主力;推動流浪犬試養,以提升認養者飼養經驗,可促進對流浪犬之寵物依附、幸福感與認養意願;對高收入之認養者應強化寵物依附,低收入者強化幸福感,以提升認養意願感;對流浪犬之認養除須強化對寵物依附程度外,應再藉由誘發認養者對流浪犬之幸福感,更能提升認養意願。
Owing to human abandon, stray-dogs have caused concerns and issues in aspects as human safety, traffic accidents, public health, noise and maintenances of animal shelters. It is reasonable to suggest that stray-dogs problems will be effectively alleviated when more people opt for adoption. This research investigates the effect of pet attachment on the willingness of stray-dogs-adoption. Moreover, it examines the extent to which pet attachment enhances further adoption willingness by using well-being as the mediated variable. Research data are collected by 419 questionnaires from adoptors to explore the effect of pet attachment and well-being on the willingness of adoption. Based on these, decision model of stray-dogs-adoption is constructed to further enhance adoptors’ understanding of the adoption framework of the pet attachment and to verify the mediated effect of how ‘well-being’ worked from the pet attachment onto the willingness of stray-dogs-adoption. Overall, the findings suggestes that the greater the pet attachment of the adoptors’, the stronger the willingness of stray-dogs-adoption and the sense of well-being. Within this, sense of well-being strengthens the willingness of adoption., combined with higher degree of pet attachment, the research reveals that the willingness of the stray-dogs-adoption be more strongly promoted. The research concludes with four suggestions. Firstly, groups with high-income such as empty-nest elderly, people in widowhood and widowerhood should be targeted as the key potential adoptors. Secondly, strategy of trial-and-adopt can be used to enrich adopters’ experience and to further enhances their willingness of adoption. Moreover, pet attachment be emphasised for those with high-income while well-being be strengthened for those with lower-income, both of which aimed to promote their overall willingness of adoption. Lastly, in addition to strengthen adoptors’ pet attachment, it is suggested to induct their sense of well-being so as to promote stronger willingness of adoption. |
