在台灣，匹克球是一個全新的運動，是簡單有趣又健康的運動，結合匹克球各項運動優勢，適合為全民的運動，也可以是最適宜的終身運動。藉由探討匹克球運動創立分級賽事來普及大眾、推廣成為全民運動、共同體驗運動的樂趣，以發揮匹克球運動分級賽事極大效益，作為評估匹克球分級賽事可行性之主因。中華民國匹克球協會參考全國網球分級賽制(NTRP)，分別於2017、2018年舉辦二屆全國匹克球分級賽事。本研究以直接觀察並參與二屆分級賽的比賽，體驗分級賽制進行服務模式；再以協會人員、參與賽事民眾及運動專家學者為深度訪談對象使更深入了解，綜合歸納分析獲得研究結論:匹克球分級賽事的舉辦，將為運動休閒產業創造極大的經濟效益及社會效益。
Pickleball is a new sport in Taiwan. It is simple and fun, and playing it promotes health. pickleball integrates the strengths of various sports. It is suitable for everyone, and it is also the most suitable form of life-long exercise. This study evaluated the feasibility of pickleball rating games through determining whether they achieved the following aspects: facilitating the popularization of pickleball, promoting it as a sport for people of all ages, demonstrating the fun of exercising together, and maximizing the benefit of pickleball rating games.
The Chinese Taipei Pickleball Association referred to the National Tennis Rating Program established by the United States Tennis Association and held National Pickleball Rating Games in 2017 and 2018. Adopting direct observation in this study, the researcher participated in rating games in 2017 and 2018 to analyze the service model of the rating program. Moreover, in-depth interviews were conducted with personnel from the association, participants of the games, and sports experts and scholars to further understand the service model. Through integrating the analyzing the results, the researcher concluded that holding pickleball rating games provided considerable economic and social benefits to the sport and leisure industry.
