This study investigates the relationships and predictability between sensemaking and resilience to frustration that adult owners experienced the death of their pets, as well as the differences in resilience to frustration and sensemaking among attachment types. Participants in this study are adult owners (above 20 years old) who have experienced the death of their pets. Three hundred ninety three voluntary participants filled out anonymous online surveys, including “Scale of Interpersonal Attachment Style”, “Scale of Comprehensive Stress and Life Experience” and “Scale of Resilience to Frustration.” Data analysis included descriptive statistics, Pearson Product-moment Correlation, One Way Analysis of Variance and Simple Linear Regression. The findings of this study including:

2. sensemaking being a positive predictor to resilience,
3. significant differences in resilience for owners of different attachment styles, and
4. significant differences in sensemaking for owners of different attachment styles.
Finally, based on the research findings, there are suggestions for parents, helping professionals, and future researches.
