The demand for Taiwan’s adhesive tape material industry has always been passive, resulting in a production-side demand in the manufacturing supply chain. However, as corporations face industrial transfer and cross-strait competition, Taiwan’s adhesive tape material industry is striving towards material innovation and well-established business strategies. Hence, this study explores how Taiwan’s adhesive tape material industry develop innovative operation modes for product development. The research method was based on the case study of a giant company and data was collected through interviews. The results of this study include constructing a front-end operating mode, innovative development mode, and a fully integrated system for product development.
