This article examines the factors that influence corruption in countries with close trade with Taiwan to explore Taiwan’s anti-corruption program. After the results of previous researchers, we can know that those factors may affect corruption, but they lack some possible factors. By adding these factors, Taiwan and other countries can effectively fight corruption.
After using the World Bank database to collect data from 30 countries from 1996 to 2016, add technology factors and factors, it will be found that the results of some variables are different from those of previous researchers, Global governance indicators higher education, and lower military spending have great effect on corruption. Freedom may be too high to have a negative impact on corruption, the age dependency ratio has a positive effect, technology for R&D expenditures and new technologies that contribute to the public can effectively combat corruption, natural resources as a percentage of GDP have no significant effect on corruption.
