    摘 要
    台灣機械母機(工具機)產業陷入紅海競爭(價格競爭),導致企業與產品品質無法提升,降低競爭力。全球化競爭激烈,客戶需求多變又挑剔,交期短、批量少與高度客製化是機械母機產業的趨勢,也是台灣機械母機質量升級,掌握競爭優勢的唯一契機。
    本論文透過敏捷企業相關文獻探討,以中育機械母機為例,探討影響其邁向敏捷企業的驅動因素,並且探討敏捷企業所造成的競爭優勢。藉由個案研究,分析中育機械如何透過創新性、差異性、環境等三個驅動因子,及敏捷企業造成的優勢如:競爭力、財務績效與製造彈性。研究結果發現中育機械在敏捷的供應鏈上有下列結果:1. 差異化對供應鏈敏捷性有積極顯著的影響。2.創新性產品(服務)及環境不確定性對供應鏈敏捷性沒有顯著性影響。3. 敏捷供應鏈對財務績效和製造彈性有顯著影響。4. 敏捷供應鏈對競爭力和顧客滿意度沒有顯著影響。這些發現對工具機敏捷性的經營有重大的管理意涵。
    On critical driver and competitive advantage for Agile Enterprise
    —Case study of Chung Yu company

    Abstract
    The machine tool industry in Taiwan has become entangled in cut-throating competition. Intense global competition, fickle customers, short delivery times, small batch sizes, and high levels of customization have become commonplace in the industry; however, addressing these challenges is arguably the only means of upgrading the quality of machine tools made in Taiwan and creating competitive advantage for them. This case study analyzed Chung Yu Machinery’s use of the driving factors of innovation, differentiation, and environmental uncertainty, along with enterprise agility, which concerns competitive strengths including competitiveness, financial performance, and manufacturing flexibility. The findings are as follows. First, differentiation exhibited a positive and significant effect on supply chain agility. Second, innovative products (services) and environmental uncertainty had no significant influence on supply chain agility. Third, supply chain agility significantly influenced financial performance and manufacturing flexibility. Fourth, supply chain agility had no significant effect on competitiveness or customer satisfaction. These findings may have profound managerial implications for the role of agility in the operations of machine tool makers
