This survey focuses on the study of relationships among participating motivation, continuous involvement and flow experience of yoga practicers Taking Taichung City citizens participating in yoga practice as research subjects , the research is based on a questionnaire survey. 450 questionnaires are sent out by random sampling, with 422 questionnaires returned, and 355 of which are valid questionnaires. The data was statistically analyzed by project analyses, reliability and validity analyses, descriptive statistics, t test, single factor analyses of variance and path analyses. The results of the study are as follows:
First, differences between subjects' personal background variables and three variables: Subjects with different levels of education have significant differences in participation motivation; Different ages, education levels, frequencies of weekly activities, and weekly exercise duration have significant differences in continuous involvement. There are also significant differences in flow experience among different levels of education, marital status, frequencies of weekly activities, and weekly exercise time.
Second, the relevance of the three variables in this study: participation motivation has a significant positive impact on continuing involvement; continuous involvement has a significant positive impact on flow experience; participation motivation has a significant positive impact on flow experience.
Third, the study's recommendations:
(1) For yoga practicers: To achieve a flow experience, participants must participate at least twice a week. The weekly practice time should be at least 215 minutes.
(2) For yoga promotion organizations or practitioners: they can arrange promotions of specific job groups. Yoga curriculum should meet individual needs, and practitioners can arrange opportunities for teachers and students to share their experiences
(3) For future researchers: Study methods can be both qualitative and quantitative, and can increase the number of variables to explore and study, and the scope of research subjects can be more extensive. |
