Purpose – The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of international students with regard to the effects of Taiwan’s higher education service quality towards international student satisfaction and institution’s reputation.
Design/Methodology/approach – this study uses a quantitative approach to examine the proposed hypotheses. Causal research design is used to indicate the cause-and-effect relationship between construct. This study use primary data collection to gather the data.
Findings – Student Satisfaction identified has strong influence towards Reputation. Meanwhile, Non-academic Aspect is identified as the most influential variable towards Student Satisfaction. Moreover, Student Satisfaction partially mediates between Non-academic Aspect and Reputation, then fully mediates Academic Aspect towards Reputation.
Research limitations – This study analysed a total sample of 197 international students in Taiwan.
Originality/value – Limited studies have examined a general construct of higher education’s Service Quality towards Student Satisfaction and institution’s Reputation in Taiwan. This study provides better understanding about key factors that influence foreign Student Satisfaction towards higher education’s Service Quality and institution Reputation itself.
Practical Implications – The findings of this research can be useful for institution in Taiwan to assess their Service Quality. Furthermore, give explanation and evidence to what extent effect of higher education Service Quality towards Student Satisfaction and Reputation.
