摘要: Near field communication (NFC) is a short-distance wireless communication technology that can be adopted in various applications, such as transportation, ticketing, fees payment, access control, connectivity, advertising, information downloads, health care, and social care. In allowing connection of all types of consumer devices, NFC offers convenient, fast, and easy communication. NFC operations are user-friendly, and combined with a separate security chip for e-wallets, this technology is also appropriate for payment and financial applications.
This study focuses on NFC technology for vehicle access and payment management systems for parking lots. Compared to traditional payment methods, this application can reduce a large amount of waiting time, allowing users quick entry and exit and increasing the efficiency of the parking lot. This study simulated the practicability and feasibility of NFC technology in parking lot management. NFC has a large range of effective applications; in the future, NFC can also be applied in systems such as home security, personnel access control, and material warehouse management.
