    Abstract: Rapid growth of human population has led to more consumption of natural resources worldwide that stress limited natural resources and contribute to global warming. Energy conservation has therefore become an important issue for human being. Apart from the various development of renewable energy, energy efficiency enhancement is the other way to deal with the problem.
    These thesis develop a ZigBee-based electric power monitoring system to improve household energy by monitoring、analyzing and displaying the daily profile of electric power consumption.
