    摘要: The purposes of this study were to explore how an Indonesian international student family did their parenting in Taiwan and how their multiple roles influenced their parenting experience. This case study adopted qualitative research method analysis.
    The researcher used purposive sampling and convenience sampling to invite one couple to participate. The interview sessions had two different categories. Individual interviews were used to explore the parenting experience from each individual based on their roles, while discussion about both participants ideas about parenting experience with multiple roles was discussed during couple interview. This research was conducted based on an in-depth interview method by using open-ended and semi-structured questions. This research discovered the Indonesian international student family's parenting strategies in Taiwan. The highlight of the findings was the participants‟ parenting strategies and family intimacy as the strengths to adjust to the Taiwanese cultures, education systems, and environments. Limitations and implications of this study will be provided in this section.
