This purpose of this research was focused on football coach paternalistic leadership and team cohesiveness. We analyzed the data with Descriptive statistics, Independent-sample T test, One-way ANOVA, Scheff� posterior comparison method and Pearson product-moment correlation. Therefore, the results of this report were as following. First of all, a majority of football players of higher education in Taiwan were male senior freshmen, around age 19, who were forward players and interested in participating division 1 in University Football League. This type of players took training about 1 year with coach and practicing 5 days a week, 2-3 hours a day. The best performances were 4th -8th place in University Football League. Secondly, there was difference in higher education football players on football coach paternalistic leadership. Thirdly, there was difference in higher education football players on team cohesiveness and we found they had well performance on team cohesiveness. Finally, there was significant correlation between football coach paternalistic leadership and team cohesiveness.
