Results of meta-analysis showed the Pu-erh tea has a significant effect on LBS on mice and humen. The pooled weighted mean difference of blood sugar on mice studies were 71 mg/dl (95%CI: 13-129) and 116 mg/dl (95%CI: 55-179) at 21 days and 28 days, respectively. The reducing the pooled average fasting blood glucose level of 17 mg / dl (95% CI: 5-29) in human studies.
