    Abstract: The purpose of this research is to discuss the relationship among leisure participation, life style and teaching effectiveness of teachers who serve in junior high school. The results of this research were expected not only to offer to teachers’ leisure activities planning and participation, but to be an important index to improve teachers’ life style and teaching effectiveness.
    The research object is the teachers who serve in junior high schools in Taichung County. There were 200 questionnaires extended, while 153 (76.5%) be returned. After the statistic analysis through SPSS software for Windows 12.0,the relationship among leisure participation, life style, and teaching effectiveness were certificated significant difference. The reductive results are there:
    1. The gender have significant influences on their leisure participation.
    2. The gender have significant influences on their life style.
    3. The leisure participations and life style of junior high school teachers effect
