This study took the police officers of Taichung city as samples, and utilized questionnaire to examine the influence of personality traits and risk tolerance on financial behavior of police officers. Structural equation model were utilized and found that personality traits might have the significantly positive influence on risk tolerance and financial behavior of the police officers. However, the risk tolerance did not have significant influence on financial behavior. Based on the above empirical findings, this study suggest that personality traits could be as an aid while the government establishing the correct financial behavior of the police officers.
