    Title: The Relationship between Manager Leadership Styles and the Employee’s Job Satisfaction after Two Banks Merging – Taking A Financial Holding Company’s Two Banks as Examples

    Abstract: The purpose of this study was to discuss manager’s leadership style to employee’s working satisfaction after merging with other banks. To achieve the above purpose, this study took bank’s employees as sample and used random sampling method to select 250 employees. There was a total 221 returned questionnaires with 211 valid ones, and the valid returned rate was 84.40%. We then adopted descriptive statistical analysis, exploratory factor analysis, item analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and regression analysis for statistical analysis.
    The results were shown as follows: The banking industry implemented transformational leadership as major leadership style. The bank’s employees had different thoughts to manager’s leadership style depending on different age. The bank’s employees had different thoughts to manager’s leadership style depending on different working years. The internal satisfaction was the most important one of employees’ working satisfaction. Manager’s leadership style had positive effect to the employees’ working satisfaction.
