The purposes of this study were to understand the current status of leisure satisfaction and teaching effectiveness of elementary school teachers in Pingtung County, also discuss the difference in those two. This research on Questionnaire Survey, first of all, collects relevant literatures, analysis theoretical connotation of leisure satisfaction and teaching effectiveness. nd re-edited questionnaire of “Relationships among Teacher’s Leisure Satisfaction and Teaching Effectiveness- A case Study of Elementary School in Pingtung County”. The survey was onducted with a sampling of 367 teachers from public elementary schools of Pingtung County. The data were analyzed by t test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé method,Pearson’s t-moment correlation, stepwise multiple regression. The results were analyzed as follows:
First, the overall leisure satisfaction is different in gender、seniority of the teacher of elementary school in Pingtung County :The satisfaction of male teacher was significantly higher than female;the satisfaction of the teacher whose service over 31years, also higher than whose service between in 21-30 years.
Second, the teacher of elementary school in Pingting County in the overall teaching efficiently will be different due to their gender:the efficiency of teaching of the male teachers is higher than that of female. There were no significant difference in age、seniority、duties、marital status. It shows that teaching effectiveness will not be affected by those conditions.
Third, there is a low to moderate positive correlation between in leisure satisfaction and teaching effectiveness of the teacher of elementary school in Pingtung County; this means the higher the satisfaction, the higher the performance for teachers.
Fourth, the teacher of elementary school in Pingtung County, whose teaching effectiveness, has high predictive power in leisure satisfaction.
