The issues about the stress from job and the job performance of the public officials have been quite emphasized in advanced western countries.The researches obviously show how emotional labors, job stresses and job achievements are related among public officials. Emotional labors and job
stresses are regarded as independent variables, the job performance is
dependent variable, and gender, education, job positions, length of service,marital status and age are control variables.This research is based on a survey which is conducted to the public officials in Taichung area. And it is proved that the emotional labor and job performance have obviously negative relations, which means the lower emotional labor the higher job performance.Besides, the job stresses are also adversely related to the officials’ job performance. People can increase their performance by means of less work pressure. Lastly, this research also provides onclusions and suggestions for the reference of businesses and academies.
