Abstract: The purpose of this study was to measure whether the process levels and quality performance for the key quality characteristics of bicycle steering pin satisfy specifications by using process capability index (PCI) and multi-quality characteristic analysis chart (MQCAC). The empirical results of this study showed that the outside diameter at the base of the bicycle steering pin was unacceptable due to supplier deficiencies. After making improvements, the company will save NT$ 3,944,160 per year. The results of this study are also capable of determining whether the processing of bicycles and parts fulfills a desired standard of process, thereby enabling bicycles and parts manufacturers to increase manufacturing production capability and enhance competitiveness.
