    Title: The Study of the Correlation between Knowledge Management and Teaching Efficiency of Junior High School Language Teachers

    Abstract: The study is to investigate the correlation between knowledge management and teaching efficiency of junior high school language teachers at Kaohsiung County. Questionnaire inquiry is conducted, and participants are chosen from public junior high school Chinese teachers at Kaohsiung County. 300 questionnaires are distributed to 22schools and 254 of them are effective. The results are as following:
    1. The overall and respective performance in knowledge management and teaching efficiency are revealed as intermediate level.
    2. The variables of teaching background make the knowledge management different: because of different genders, there are differences among the knowledge application; because of difference of age, there are differences among knowledge storage; seniority also influences the storage and creativity of knowledge; based on different school locations, there are also differences in acquisition, storage, sharing, creativity, and application.
    3. The variables of teaching background such as gender, age, education background, seniority, position, and the scale of the school do not make any difference in teaching efficiency; there are differences among teaching methods and teaching techniques due to different school locations.
    4. It is found significant correlation between language teachers’ knowledge management and teaching efficiency, overall and respectively.
