Abstract: This project is aimed to analyze the correlations between work values and the desire to share knowledge for a selected group of junior high school teachers in Kaohsiung County. In order to successfully complete this project, survey method is primarily employed to collect the data and information contributing to the research work. The survey is stratified random sampling among 420 teachers from 30 public elementary schools in Kaohsiung County. The percentage of validity is 87.4% based on the sample of 355 participants received from a total of 367.
After analyzing the research results, there are three key findings pertaining to this project.
    1. The junior high school teachers in Kaohsiung County generally have positive opinions of their work values, but the extent they are conscious of their work values will still vary with their genders, ages, current positions and service years.
    2. Most junior high school teachers demonstrate an above-the-average desire to share knowledge with others, as this project depicts. Nonetheless, the difference of current positions, highest levels of education and school sizes will make an impact on their desire to share knowledge.
    3. The correlation between work values and the desire to share knowledge of junior high school teachers in Kaohsiung County is moderate positive. Furthermore, the four dimensions, including orientations of dignity, self-growth, interaction, stability and freedom from anxiety, as well as the dependent variable, the desire to share knowledge, are significantly predictive.
