    Abstract: Due to the thriving development of the Internet and information technology into day-to-day teaching applications, the functionalities of class websites are improving day by day. Class websites are beneficial tools to the management of the homeroom teachers. The class websites not only positively enhance the interactions between students and teachers but nowadays also are one of the communication platforms among the teachers, students and the parents. Through recent literature research and analysis, it appears that most class websites design tends to one-sided information expressing, without parents’ involving in feedback. The goal of this research aims to provide more interactive functions for the teacher-parent community and makes the class website a platform for better communications between students, parents, and teachers. Having the common goal sharing for teachers and parents through the feedback mechanism and experience, the class websites can be useful in sustainable class development.
    This research used the flexible Drupal Content Management System(CMS) to design a class website with more interactive functionalities, such as schedule, album, chat rooms, etc. The class website is also integrated with powerful social community functions such as Micro-Blogs in the Facebook,as well as other community-interaction modules. As such, it not only provides a Web2.0 style interactive communications platform between teachers and parents, but also improves the vitality of the class websites and promotes the effectiveness of classroom instructing. In addition, this research also probes the effectiveness of newly designed class website through fellow teachers and parents with feedbacks and suggestions.

    The conclusions of this research are as follows:
    1. Using the Drupal CMS to set up the class websites, and combining it with Facebook micro-blog function, is effective to the class management and communication between teachers and parents.
    2. The class websites is effective to get parents involved in the feedback of websites’ contents and share their experiences.
    3. By way of integrating Facebook into Drupal-designed class website would raise parents’ willingness to participant. At the same time, the class websites would be more well-known and more frequently utilized.
