Abstract: Traffic safety education is one of the more effective methods to prevent traffic accidents so that students know how to protect themselves, and cultivate the right safety concept. In holidays, it is common for the whole family to participate in leisure activities by riding bikes. It is often seen that children after school go tutoring or shopping by bikes so that bicycles have become the common transport means for school children. However the children’s accidents caused by riding a bike are often heard. And for students, to strengthen bicycle safety education is to ensure their safety.
This study developed a digital interactive multimedia learning platform to provide elementary school students with a safe interesting learning environment for learning through computer multimedia features, and an interactive adaptive-learning approach in accordance with learners’ learning to control their own learning progress and teaching materials.
The results showed that after both the traditional classroom learning and learning through an interactive multimedia digital learning, there are not only significant achievement in bicycle safety awareness, but also a better digital learning than traditional classroom learning.
