    Title: A Study of Current Digital Art Education--Computer Graphics as an Example

    Abstract: Computer Graphics is a emerging area, which is maturing after 1980’s, and it to compare with traditional art’s historical, it can be said is very short. In the past, the traditional teacher training program is not related to the establishment of computer graphics, and general teachers are lack professional training of computer graphics. Therefore, in teaching, both in curriculum planning, teaching methods, there are still many problems to be improved solution. This research aims to investigate the status of teaching computer graphics; study was designed to (a) to explore the development of computer graphics in the country profiles; (b) of the computer graphics in the teaching process problems encountered. This study used literature review, Department of integer bit artistic fields and views of experts and scholars discussed, extract8the following conclusions:(1)Computer graphics teaching, lack of time, the school curriculum, the teacher can provide students with a more detailed course content, students can not be absorbed from complete.(2)Computer graphics hardware and software equipment required for courses, teaching environment, network bandwidth, both teachers and students affect teaching and learning situation. Therefore, the maintenance and updating software and hardware equipment, will be very important. (3)Students of different levels, in the course design must be as the situation of students and individualized learning to enable students to have confidence in computer graphics, it will not be the basis of lack of capacity, resulting in the follow-up study on the state of backwardness and non- adaptation.(4)Assessment of the way, also must be a standard, but also to follow the status of students with timely encouragement and adjustment, after all the students in the creative ability, creative inspiration and so upgrading is the ultimate goal of computer graphics courses.
