    Abstract: The Relation between Watching Sports and the Cognition of Language Research –a Case Study of English Learning

    Abstract
    This study aims to explore the study focused on elementary school children's cognitive abilities, the relevance of sports and watching sports experience, learning and English as an example. In this study, the elementary school is the teaching field of the study, questionnaire, interview and observation of teaching research methods. Group test-oriented study, subjects for five and grade six students to conduct a survey, total issued 51 questionnaires 51. To interview and do semi-structured coding, beside issued 51 feedback sheets and full recovery to do Spss descriptive statistics. In addition, make a scatter plot analysis of students ' learning conditions.
    In this study refers to the literature, the questionnaire as a research tool, which includes the basic data, cognitive effectiveness scale, movement recognition scale into two parts, good internal consistency and stability of the scale. Recovering data were using frequency distribution tables, descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis, ANOVA, correlation analysis, paired sample t test and one-way ANOVA statistical analysis.

    The results of this studyFound: (A) Baseball theme combined with watching Sports movies and sports exercise has a significant effect on the experience in learning English. (B) Swimming theme combined with watching Sports movies and sports exercise has a significant effect on the experience in learning English. (C) Sports exercise in English learning had more significant results than did not have sports exercise. (D) By watching Sports movies to learn English was significant to improve the interest in sports. Finally, making recommendations based on the findings, education researchers and related reference units and researchers.
