Abstract: In recent years, the Food insecurity incidents successively occurred in Taiwan and other countries. The world and Taiwan are actively promoting the food and farming education. The food and farming education can teach children to know the original taste of food, and to establish a healthy eating attitude. Because of tourism development, many leisure farms in Taiwan have introduced many "DIY activities to make food by themselves". In this paper, we will discuss the development and implementation of food and farming experience activities in the form of "technical report". The data was collected from October to December, 2016, and the research was divided into two parts. One part was to study the cognitions of leisure farm managers and tourists by the in-depth interview method. The other part is to understand the teaching performance of food and farming education on bee by using a structured questionnaire. The results of this technical report were the followings:
    1. Most of the respondents thought that the food and farming experience activities should be handled by the private sector, but the government units could be in a counseling role.
    2. Participants of the food and farming experience activities mostly want to experience nature, but also agree to make food or to grow ingredients by themselves.
    3. All respondents agreed that the greatest achievement in the experience activities is to pay much attention of ecology.
    4. Most of the respondents thought that the other achievements in the experience activities are to have senses of participation and cohesion and to create more interaction between people.
    5. All respondents were concerned about "food safety issues", but few did not have much idea about the farming experience.
    6. Most of the respondents agreed that a mentor or supervisor of the relevant authorities to assist in the organization to gain the certification of food and farming education.
    7. The food and farming experience activities on knowing bee can help children understand the bee ecology.
Based on the above conclusions, (1)Food and farming education should increase the community and public sector cooperation (2)To promote and to implementation of food and farming education (3)The food and farming experience activities and the field to implementation the activities should be generated together (4)To combine local manpower and agricultural resources (5)To enhance the willingness to participate the activities and fight for financial support (6) To integrated the core philosophy of food and farming education into the school curriculum were recommendations for this technical report.
