    摘要: Cardiovascular diseases has been ranked stubbornly high in the leading causes of death in Taiwan. Coronary artery disease among them is the most common one. After morbid, the myocardium became vulnerable increasing the risks of heart failure for survived patients. Not only is it a treat to people’s health, but a tremendous impact on medical resource.
    On the expectation of achieving disease prevention through improving health condition and adjusting lifestyle by researching the difference and relevance of body constitution of Chinese medicine to identify personal health condition and further to serve as basis to improving health condition.

    This study is a cross-sectional correlation study with purposive sampling, participants came from cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CCU) and general cardiovascular ward, in medical center in central Taiwan, and was conducted with structured questionnaire with 250 coronary artery patients.
    The study shows that the body constitution among coronary artery patients, 75.2% belong to the category of “yang-qi-Xu”; further examine with multivariate analysis and univariate analysis of variance indicate that: “Female” is aggravating factor of yang-qi-Xu, ying-blood-Xu and phlegm and stasis. “Shift duty” and “Stress” are aggravating factor of phlegm and stasis. “No habit of exercise” is aggravating factor of yang-qi-Xu and phlegm and stasis. “Sadness” of five moods is aggravating factor of yang-qi-Xu and phlegm and stasis. “Worried” of five moods is aggravating factor of ying-blood-Xu and phlegm and stasis. “Recurrence of coronary artery disease” is aggravating factor of yang-qi-Xu. “Kidney disease” is aggravating factor of ying-blood-Xu.
