Abstract: Ageing is a global trend. Taiwan’s population moves from “ageing” to “aged” by 2018 during a 25-year period. However the developed countries in Europe and the United States of America spent more years moving from “ageing society” to “aged society.” They have been undergoing a process of population ageing over a longer period of time. Hence they have many websites with rich content for seniors. Therefore this paper aims to study their resources and services on ageing population from browsing the websites and analyzing their content. The results show that Europe and America have many informative websites targeting the elderly group. Many websites in America provide various types of service-based search platforms for seniors. They are to facilitate the users to acquire resources in a short period of time. In Europe, many elderly organizations from numerous countries formed joint alliances to organize sports events for exchange purpose, which create a friendly elderly exercising environment for Europe. The research results can be used as important references for Taiwan to promote elderly welfare and design websites for seniors.
