    Title: The Study of Adventure Education Effect and Psychological & Physiological Signal for Experienting High and Low Level Ropes Course

    Abstract: While asking for education reform and promoting flipped education, there are promoting Adventure Education very much in scholarship field, school education and corporate education now. Many universities and colleges let Adventure Education to be credit courses and senior high schools put it in schedules of civic education. Challenge ropes courses are the important parts of Adventure Education. Participants obtain effect from stage experiencing, reflecting, applying, and to cultivate the attitude of self-development and adventure spirit, and to cultivate the abilities of team leadership and teamwork, and to get leisure experiences.
    Now the studies of challenge ropes courses of Adventure Education focus on education almost, the emphasis of the classes is on the benefit of classes, but the study is none on experience economy, no more scholar discuss the influences of mediating variables, so this research lets preparedness and personality to be the input variables from the view of leisure experience, which include the reaction of sense (entertainment experience), mood(aesthetic experience), cognitive(education experience) with participation experience from college students enjoy challenge ropes courses of Adventure Education, and involvement levels(emotion, cognitive and action) to be mediating variables, this study would probe these variables how to influence the benefit of life effectiveness, and team abilities, and try to use instrument to measure the physiological signals and fill in the experience questionnaire when participants view the film of challenge ropes course, this study would probe whether the participants obtain the experience of challenge ropes course or not by the data of experience questionnaire and physiological signal.
    According to the result of analysis, this research obtain the following conclusion: 1. After the class of low level rope courses in one week and high level rope courses in two weeks, the benefits of the course include life effectiveness, group cohesiveness and team abilities are much significant. 2. There are significant benefits of experiences in challenge ropes courses. 3.This study obtain the result by physiological signals: (1) physiological signals can be categorized to different factors: time domain of heart rate variability: R-R interval and standard deviation of time domain; frequency domain of heart rate variability: frequency domain I & frequency domain II; electroencephalography( EEG) &α_asy and the area of interest(AOI): focus on the pillar, focus on the ball and focus on the body. (2) The actives of sympathetic nervous system of test group are significantly stronger than the comparison group. (3) The actives of sympathetic nervous system are stronger when participants have more preparedness, agreeableness personality and higher involvement level. (4) The left brain is more active and tends to positive emotion when participants have agreeableness personality and high involvement level. (5) Those who get more preparedness will focus on the ball much more and longer. 4. When we observe datas from models, we can find out : (1) preparedness, personality, mediating variables and benefits are occurred part mediating, the main factors are experience and agreeableness personality. (2) When dependent variable is watching experience, preparedness, personality, mediating variables are occurred full mediating, the main factors are participation experience and benefits of course. 5. Looking at psychological and physiological signals crossverification, preparedness, personality, mediating variables to Physiological signals occurs none mediating, among them, the main factor is preparedness to R-R interval of time domain and the frequency & time of focus on the ball of AOI. The significant factor of other time domain and α asy of EEG is personality, and there are none significant in SD1/SD2 of time domain, frequency domain, δ、θ、α、 β waves of EEG and focus on the pillar & body of AOI.
    This research is based on College Students, we can expand the objects to junior and senior high school students, corporate education groups in the future, it will be more complete to this research.
