    Abstract: The main purpose of the present study is to investigate junior high school students physical fitness, relationship between emotional intelligence, academic achievement, the Study take Taichung Dadu District, Taichung States for main research object, total Valid questionnaires are 508. The resulting data were generated form statistical software “SPSS for Windows 12.0’ statistical analysis program. The results are as follows:
    The performance of overall emotional intelligence in the first grade students is better than that in the third grade students. The performance of overall emotional intelligence and self-motivation, interpersonal and management dimensions in girls is better than that in boys, The performance difference was significant.The academic performance of overall result, Chinese, English in Girls is better than that in boys; the average academic performance of two-parent families in junior high school students is higher than the average academic performance of single-parent families, grandparents and other conditions in junior high school students;the father,the mother's education level will affect the junior high school students academic achievement.The total score of junior high school students’physical fitness and overall emotional intelligence have low level of significant positive correlation. The junior high school students’ physical fitness scores and academic achievement and all four indicators and subjects all showed a low level of significant positive correlation. The performance of overall emotional intelligence and the performance of overall academic achievement in junior high school students have low level of significant positive correlation. Junior high school students’physical fitness and emotional intelligence can predict academic achievement. Adjusted R-squared coefficient is .107.
